How long will the Brewtag last?

The diamond tipped engraver used on our tags will cut deep enough in your Brewtag that it will take years of opening beers, ball chasing, and swims to lose what’s most important about the Brewtag; your dog’s information. It is more likely that it will lose its ability to easily open a cold one before your Brewtag is unreadable. All of this, of course, depends on how active your dog and beer drinking is.

Is it awkward to open a brew with the opener attached to the collar?

Not if the collar is loose enough to swivel around the dog’s neck so you can obtain an optimal angle for opening the bottle.

Isn’t this cruel to a dog?

You’re already weighing down their neck with a tag that only holds some information. Why not have them hold something that virtually weighs the same, is the same width, is just a bit longer, and relays the same information as a regular dog tag and is useful to you? I can’t speak for all dogs, of course, but my lab has enjoyed all the extra attention at parties, even to the point of making sure those that use his Brewtag, throw his ball after his services.

How do cats respond to the Brewtag?

If you actually have a cat that will come anytime you need your brew opened, then they are probably fine with it.
